A chilling CCTV clip circulating widely on social media has exposed a Ghanaian man disguised as a pastor brazenly stealing a phone from a salon attendant while pretending to offer her spiritual prayers.
In the footage, the suspect, dressed in clerical attire complete with a collar, enters what appears to be a hair salon or beauty shop. He approaches the unsuspecting female attendant, engages her in conversation, and soon begins what looks like an impromptu prayer session. As he places his hands on her head or shoulders in a blessing gesture, he skillfully slips her mobile phone from her pocket or nearby surface and tucks it away without her noticing.
The victim remains oblivious throughout the act, focused on the supposed divine intervention. Only later, presumably after reviewing the security recording, did the theft become clear, prompting the video's rapid spread across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
The incident has sparked outrage online, with many commenters condemning the exploitation of religious trust for criminal gain.
