The deceased who is yet to be named was confirmed dead on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, when the Bernese Cantonal police were called in by neighbors following a violent dispute at the Rue Jolimont in Reconvilier. According to a report on Citizen TV, the perpetrator, a Swiss man who was found at the scene and arrested with no signs of resistance. Police also discovered a knife at the scene but
