A 13-year-old girl identified as Hasiya A. Bawa has been hospitalised after she was reportedly gang raped by three bandits in Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State.
Journalist Bakatsine confirmed the incident via an X post on Thursday November 27, 2025.
According to him, Hasiya, from Kudodo village, Golkogo ward, was on her way back from the market with her elder brother Rabiu A Bawa when the bandits ambushed them and raped her.
The renewed activities of banditry in Lakpma axis is seriously alarming. How long will communities remain this vulnerable?” he queried.
This comes after bandits had launched a deadly attack in Palaita community, erena Ward, Shiroro LGA, abducting 24 people, including pregnant women.
